“I Can Save Myself”; Another Subtle Deceit by Satan Part II

Back to Adam and Eve; they sewed clothes for themselves from fig leafs but that neither solved their disobedience issue nor their nakedness predicament. God comes down, ask after him and he further complicated the matter by hiding. Is it not ironical that they (in their own limited wisdom) had solved their problem of nakedness but still went into hiding?

The violation of eternal laws cannot be fixed by physical attempts. You cannot redeem yourself by yourself .Our righteousness cannot solve God’s need for righteousness through and only through HIS Son. Isaiah 64:6(a) “But we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags…” No depth of human knowledge and wisdom can fix eternal problems like the salvation of a man’s soul and the destination of a man’s spirit after departing the body.

Have you sinned? Are you trying to fix your sin (addiction) issue by yourself through book research, listening to experts, scientist, psychologist, etc. or checking for answers on google and other social media platforms? You are wasting your time.
Like earthly law violations, to redeem yourself (fix it), you will have to pay for the violation by imprisonment time, fines, etc. For eternal laws also, a penalty must also be paid when they are broken. Often times, it is a sacrifice; a shedding of blood for atonement without which, the person who committed the violation remains guilty.

This brings us to Genesis 3: 21“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skin and clothed them.” Despite their attempt at redeeming their mistake by sewing clothes of leafs to cover their nakedness, God goes ahead to do the same thing but using animal skin. Why? Did their own leaf clothing not cover them enough? My answer is in two fold
