The Kingdom of God is not The Church of God

2nd Corinthians 2:11 says “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” Simplified means not to be ignorant of the subtle but purposeful deceit of Satan because even the very elect(You and Me) could be deceived… Matthew 24:24“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

For instance, Satan has subtly changed and redefined the meaning of Kingdom of God(Word) and Church of God

One used to think that the clear difference between the “Kingdom of God” and the “Church of God” was simply that the former is the blueprint and workings of God; that is the Will of God shown through/by the Word of God while the latter is the body of christ on earth to prepare, equip and mature christ choosen people for life here and beyond using the blueprint.
With these scriptures, you see the difference;
Luke 17:20-21“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Mark 1:15“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Matthew 12:28…”But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.”

Then the popular Lord’s Prayer says in Matthew 6:10… “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

For the Church, see;
1st Corinthians 11:22 “What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.”
Galatians 1:13“For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:”

1st Corinthians 7:17… “But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.”

Because of this clear differences, in the Bible days, the blueprint was more exalted than the church… 1st Timothy 4:13“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” and 2nd Timothy 3:16… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

But now, the Church of God has become the blueprint itself and the content of the blueprint is whatever the church says it is….So now, the emphasis is on the church of God and not the Kingdom of God. The two are presented now as been synonymous and inseparable but that’s not true. From the above, the kingdom of God and the church are not the same nor synonymous though both of them are intertwined. Many are mistaken one for the other especially the former for the latter. The word existed first before the church came to be. John 1:1-3 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
Infact, it is because of the kingdom of God that the church of God exist but the opposite is the case now.

So do not be deceived into believing that going to church regularly, attending to all church services, duties and instructions, pleasing the leadership, given high titles and ranks, regarded by many as serving God and adhering to every Word and command from your leader(Pastor, Bishop, etc) is the same as living a life of holiness and righteousness according to God’s Word and been led by the Holy Spirit in your daily work/walk with Jesus.

They may look, seem and sound like the same but THEY ARE NOT because on the day of your judgement, you will answer for your obedience to the Kingdom of God and not to the Church of God.
