My conclusion is simple.. “Victim Mentality”. Most African-Americans today are displaying a mindset that they are being oppressed and its because of their skin color. They have and are still been brainwashed to believe that once you are a Caucasian, you are titled to the best in life even when it is obvious to them that this is not true. How?
See the many homeless, jobless and hungry Caucasians everywhere. See the number of Caucasians struggling like everyone else to feed, clothe and pay bills. All these are evident because these Caucasians are their neighbors, teachers, bus drivers, cleaners, construction workers, plumbers, carpenters, etc.
Yes, they are victims but victims of what they have allowed to go in and take root in their hearts. They have not guarded their hearts with all diligence. They have allowed all manner of oppressive teachings and thoughts to take control of their hearts.
Yes, there is racism. Racism is real but Systemic Racism is a made-up excuse for them to keep feeling sorry for themselves and allow them continue in their lazy and unproductive life style because once understood that the system is fair and equal, they will be expected to compete and that is a problem for the indolent.
Again, let me use Nigeria; land of the brave and resilience to buttress a point. Everyone knows that we do not have winter in Africa and therefore, snow does not fall here. Some years ago, three Nigerian ladies by names; Sean Adigun, Naomi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga, came together and participated in the ”Bobsled Event” which is a Winter/Snow Event …2017, at the Winter Olympics. You can argue that they live abroad but they also lived here once and come visiting. They could develop the Mentality of “why bother with a snow event, when we don’t have it here…no one in Nigeria will even appreciate it” but they did not.
“Your complaints, your drama, your victim Mentality, your whining, your blaming, and all of your excuses have NEVER gotten you even a single step closer to your goals or dreams. Let go of the delusion that you DESERVE better and go EARN it. Today is a new day…… ” Steve Maraboli
“While some see the fact that their parents could not obtain formal basic education as a reason to aspire and excel to the highest educational qualification….the slothful see it as an opportunity to organize a pity party…”
I am not an American and I have never been there before but i have seen my fellow Nigerians go there and achieve great and remarkable things(in every sphere of life) despite the claims by the African-Americans there about systemic racism. The choice is yours and not the prevailing system.
Guard your heart, change your mindset and your life’s outcome will change. To successfully do this, seek a relationship with Jesus christ. He is able.
