1st Corinthians 3:6 says “So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”
This scripture tells me that our/your “Kind” of involvement in kingdom business does not determine your relevance in the kingdom… “NO”
The kinds of involvement are being a;
Worker in Church
He plants seeds made by God and plants them in the ground created by God…So really, what’s Paul’s true relevance here? He didn’t make the seed nor the ground.
What about Apollos?
Who created the water? God… So what is their true relevance if all they did was still take from the same God to do the work that same God has done and can still do without help from anyone.?
And let’s not forget “Exodus 15:2”… “The Lord is my strength…”
So even the strength to do this kingdom works is God’s… including wisdom and knowledge.
“So really, what is our/your relevance in kingdom works?”
It’s not the works themself, …NO…It’s your “actual obedience” or “enthused willingness to obey His commands.”
“May the Lord grant us enthused willingness and joy for obedience and actual obedience for His commands in Jesus’ name…Amen”
