Psalm 92:1-2 starts with this ;
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,”
Then in the middle verses the Psalmist mentions God’s help for the righteous and defeat of the wicked and then in “Verses 13 & 14” the bible says ;
“Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;”
Many things can be planted in a garden or courtyard, for instance…Apple’s, grapes, mangoes, pineapples, etc or flowers like Roses, hibiscus, etc..They all can be planted but they are not all the same.
They don’t have the same root depth, The same stem strength or the same branch firmness or the same leaf size or texture..
Applied to us, we don’t all have to be Prayer Warriors, Pastors, Church-Workers, Evangelist, Old in church, understand all scriptures, speak in tongues, etc. I thank God that THE ALMIGHTY did not/does not create any class or race superiority or inferiority difference between believers in Christ Jesus. “(Galatians 3: 28….There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
What is required is to be “planted” in the house of the Lord….to be and remain “Born Again” “genuinely” and “HE” will cause you to flourish.
So this is the Maths of Psalm 92;
1. Get born again genuinely and fervently…be planted… Remember Only Jesus can plant you.
2. Give thanks and sing praise to God regularly in the morning and night recalling HIS kindness and faithfulness.
3. When No.1 and No.2 are in place, God will make you flourish so that people will see that, Yeah!!!, your testimonies about HIM is true.
4. Most remarkably is that even at Old Age, HE will still make you flourish in the most amazing and refreshing way, beyond your human capacity.
KEEP PRAISING HIM AND BEING THANKFUL AND HE WILL CAUSE YOU TO FLOURISH ALWAYS; IN AND OUT OF SEASON.
